Australian Snakes beware when visiting
Many Australian snakes are not dangerous to humans. However around 75 species are front fanged snakes. These have a sharp hollow tooth called a fang . Each fang is connected to the venom glad.
Around 20 speices of Australian snakes produce venom that can kill a human. A good rule is to leave any snake alone. When bush walking wear long trousers and sturdy boots.
